GQA Qualifications Sponsor Young Person 2014 Award!

It's an absolute pleasure to announce that GQA Qualifications are to officially sponsor the Young Person 2014 category for this year's National Fenestration Awards!

GQA Qualifications have been great supporters of the National Fenestration Awards since the very beginning and it is great news that they have agreed to support the awards further by associating themselves with the Young Person 2014 award, one of the most highly contested and important categories within the whole of the NFAs.

The fit between Young Person 2014 and GQA Qualifications was perfect. GQA's business is based solely on personnel development and skills. They are the perfect example of a "people business". Their job of providing qualifications goes hand in hand with our own aims behind the Young Person award.

About Young Person 2014

We created the Young Person 2014 category to search for the cream of the crop of our industry's younger generation. During the recession years the 16-24 year olds of the UK seemed to develop a very unfair "lazy" tag which we all felt was unjustified. So we set out to try and put that right in our own little way.

What we ask is that companies in the industry put forward a 16-24 year old who works for them, or maybe works for someone else. We want to know what that young person has done to deserve their nomination and why they should be put through to the final short list.

At the end of the year we hope to display a long and impressive list of some of the youngest, best and brightest our industry is working with right now.

We look forward to working with GQA Qualifications for the rest of this year and hope to bring the Young Person 2014 award to as much of the industry as possible with their help and support!
