First Glass Window Systems of Birkenhead have recently begun working with the GQA Approved Centre, North Lancs Training Group (NLTG). NLTG started work with Phil Jones on MTC compliance and he recently passed his installer and surveyor assessments with a score of 90% and is more than happy to get his hands on his GQA / FENSA competence card. Phil explained ”at first I was a little apprehensive at taking the exams as I had not done anything like this since school, but Roy from NLTG explained the reasons behind it and made it more clear”. Phil also went on to say “I have run my own business for almost 20 years and been connected to FENSA since 2002, I was not aware that any qualifications were relevant for window fitting, but after speaking to Roy Pusey I have now put my remaining team onto the apprentice scheme, I would like to thank Roy and everyone at the North LANCS Training Group for their professionalism and support, and I am looking forward to working with them further to assist with any training and competence needs for my staff.”
