Allied Glass Containers are currently seeking a creative and innovative Training & Development Officer to support the business in achieving its objectives through training and development planning, organisation, delivery and evaluation, with the aim of ensuring employees are equipped with the skills and knowledge to undertake their roles competently.

Reporting to the Head of Human Resources, you will be responsible for identifying training and development needs within the Company and will have the proven skills and knowledge to design, develop and deliver training and development packages. You will also have the ability to evaluate, review and revise, when necessary, training and development programmes in order to adapt to changes occurring within the organisation.

With a thorough understanding of training and development needs in a fast moving manufacturing environment, together with excellent communication and IT skills, you will be qualified to CIPD Certificate in L & D Practice level (or equivalent) and will be self driven, highly motivated and have the capacity to drive training and development initiatives throughout the Company.

With a competitive annual salary this is a day staff position, with a basic working week of 35 hours and attracts all the benefits associated with a major Company.
